The close proximity of the two satellites (97° W and 101°W) permits both satellites to be received using a single Direct-to-home ground antenna (dish) with a dual LNB. SES-1 is a high power satellite which covers the entire continental USA, including Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.

To receive your choice of programming via SES-1 satellite, you will need a Direct-To-Home satellite system (satellite dish, receiver) to receive the television and radio programming.
